About me - I am a fully insured and qualified level 4 Foot Health Practitioner.  I provide a full personalised foot care check and treatment to all my patients. I provide a mobile service for those who travelling to a foot clinic is not convenient in South Doncaster and in April 2025 I will be opening the clinic in Bawtry for those who can travel.

I am fully qualified to treat diabetic patients who’s foot care treatment is a necessity, and I also offer a full range of treatments to cure, care for and prevent a range of foot conditions. Whether it be fungal nail infection, corns, ingrowing toenails or cracked heels or you just want to keep your feet looking and feeling fresh and healthy, you can be sure that I am able to offer you the appropriate care to keep you on your feet.

Services 

Corns

Hard Corns: These are painful areas of thickened skin which occur over areas of high intermittent pressure. They almost always occur on the toes or over the skin to the sole of the foot. Soft corns: These corns are whitish/gray and have a softer, rubbery texture. Soft corns appear between the toes. Seed corns: These corns are small and usually form on the bottom of feet.

Fungal nails

The most common cause of thickened and unsightly nails is infection with "fungus", "onychomycosis". Initially the nail may simple show signs of a slight change in texture and colour but over time the normal healthy appearance of the nail plate becomes totally destroyed, leading to thickened and very unsightly nails. I can reduce the nail and provide a treatment plan to deal with the infection. Contact me to get started.

Verrucas

Verrucae are common lesions caused by a virus which invades the skin. They are often contracted from communal areas such as swimming pools, changing rooms and terraces where the skin is exposed. They can be painful and this if often due to the build up of callus on top of the lesion. This callus is easily removed to give immediate relief and allows medicaments if you wish to use them to penetrate directly into the wart.

Skin Care

The average person walks 3,000 to 4,000 steps a day, or roughly 1.5 to 2 miles so it should come as no surprise that the skin on our feet is subject to a fair amount of mechanical stress. Add to this hosiery, footwear and environmental factors, it is no surprise that the skin on our feet can be prone to injury and disease. Foot Health Practitioners are trained to diagnose and treat a wide range of skin conditions including: - Corns / callus - Dry skin - Heel fissures - Verrucae & warts

Long thickened curved nails

Nail trimming can be difficult especially if thickened I will reduce the thickness and trim down leaving nails looking healthy and more comfortable.

Callus - Dry cracked heels

Dry skin is common and can be affected by weather, the environment we work in as well as — but it may be a lifelong condition. Dry skin is likely to cause one or more of the following: - A feeling of skin tightness, especially after showering, bathing or swimming - Skin that feels and looks rough - Itching (pruritus) - Slight to severe flaking, scaling or peeling - Fine lines or cracks - Deep cracks that may bleed. I can reduce the callus and advise on a care routine to keep your feet feeling softer.

Ingrowing toe nail

An ingrown toenail can be very painful and even become infected. Part of the nail grows into the soft surrounding skin. They can be treated with ease and with advise given on maintenance and correct foot wear they can often heal quickly.

Athletes foot - Fungal foot infection

Athlete's foot is a common fungal infection that affects the feet. You can usually treat it with creams, sprays or powders from a pharmacy, but it can keep coming back. Symptoms of athlete's foot: One of the main symptoms of Athlete's foot is itchy white patches between your toes. It can also cause sore and flaky patches on the bottom of your feet. I can advise on the treatment required depending on where the infection is presenting on your foot.

Hammer toes

Toe deformities are very common and increase in frequency in older age groups. I have a range of toe fittings to help relief the pain and discomfort whilst walking.

The Diabetic foot

About half of all people with diabetes have some kind of nerve damage. You can have nerve damage in any part of your body, but nerves in your feet and legs are most often affected. Nerve damage can cause you to lose feeling in your feet. Regular foot checks are vital to keep any problems checked and dealt with to avoid any problems that go un noticed. I am fully qualified and insured to assess and treat the diabetic foot.

LCN nail reconstruction

If a nail has been damaged/fungal or surgically removed and you are looking for a long-lasting false nail, LCN Pedique nail reconstruction may be exactly what you are looking for. The affected nail is filed down using an electric nail drill and a synthetic silicone nail is built around your remaining nail, or from scratch if you have no nail remaining, to restore your toenail to it's pre-damaged appearance. The reconstruction typically lasts up to 6 weeks* (although often lasts MUCH longer) and gives an elegant look whether nail polish is applied or not. You can apply nail polish, and remove it, repeatedly without damaging the false nail. The treatment will prevent spreading of a fungal infection to other nails. From £60 includes full foot treatment

If you have any problems with your feet, you NEED this girl. She is fantastic. I am paraplegic and not walked for almost two years. The build up of hard skin etc on my feet was unreal, also I am diabetic. Within four visits my feet are now in brilliant condition. I cannot praise Nina enough.
